VCT 2023 Master Tokyo: All Aces so Far

Valorant Champions Tour 2023 Masters Japan, the highly anticipated Valorant Tournament, kicked off its Group Stage on the 11th of June. Eight teams participated in this tournament. The top four teams from this stage qualify for the Playoffs, where they will face the top seeds Paper Rex (PRX), LOUD Fnatic and Team Liquid. The $1,000,000 USD prize pool is on the line, along with bragging right and the trophy to take home. Fans have been treated to Valorant action by the best players in the industry after just three days of the tournament.

You must be familiar with the feeling of acing if you play Valorant. There’s nothing better than getting five kills in a row and displaying a cool finisher to go with it. We are seeing some iconic aces in Tokyo for the VCT 2023 Master tournament.

Evil Geniuses Boostio records 1st Ace of VCT Masters Tokyo

In the second game of the Best-of-Three (BO3) series, Evil Geniuses’ (EG) Kelden Boostio Pupello won the VCT Masters Tokyo 2023 while playing Sentinel Agent Killjoy on Lotus. Boostio, who was playing from the clever destructible gate between B-Site & A-Site in the second match of the best-of-three (BO3) series against FUT Esports, scored four quick kills using the rifle on B-site’s default plant and one more with the Nanoswarm.

Another Killjoy Ace in Lotus

Byeon Sang-beom, aka ” munchkin“, secured an ace in the BO3 series on the map Lotus 1 on the 13th of June. NRG planted in A-site with the Viper Ultimate during the 10th round. Munchkin, with the help of Munchkin’s teammates, was able clear corners to eliminate all of the remaining NRG members, resulting in five clean kills.

Viper’s Pit: T1 Xeta’s absolute dominance

Munchkin wasn’t the only player to score an ace in T1 against NRG. Son ” xeta“, Seon-ho, who was playing Viper on Pearl’s decider map, picked up five consecutive kills by using his Ultimate Viper Pit. The score was 10-10, and T1 had the advantage. NRG was able to gain the advantage with the A-site spike and the fact that Jett and Harbor were dead for T1. xeta’s ultimate was crucial as the player managed to pick up a ace in the green smoke.
